                                                       MISSION STATEMENT

The objective of my blog is to educate our audience consisting of young adults to the late 30’s about the unsanitary living conditions in Indian slums. Currently, the living conditions in the slums are abominable; therefore, children are dying at a rapid rate. All generations are experiencing malnutrition and the slum-dwelling population has increased over the decades. I   would like to illustrate to my readers how the slum-dwellers have been impacted, how the education system is not giving children the precious gift of learning they all deserve, the necessary support they need from their parents but do not receive, and the basic facilities to live a healthy life or live at all. I want to inspire people globally to aid and help cure the unsanitary conditions in Indian slums by educating them about the conditions and the life of a slum-dwelleR..

India has the highest number of children that die in a year compared to any other country in the world. About two million children die each year with lack of health care. With this rate that keeps going on there is one child dying around every 15 seconds. The population of children in India is at about 240 million and just India alone supplies for 25% of children death in the entire world. With deaths being impacted and getting helped out they will have a huge impact because of the statistics. India is lacking from good health care to help the children who are dying and it is ranked among one of the worst countries with health care, 171st country out of 175. This is the main reason for children mortality rates and an excuse for why parents have to kill their children
